The Team
Diego Vizcaino
U.S. Operations and Customer Management Associate
I originally came up with the idea of Two Birds Coffee when I had just completed my M.B.A. program at Florida Atlantic University. I saw the severity of the problem in maintaining a coffee farm that is environmentally and ethically conscious with the little that the C-Market allowed for coffee to be paid. I spoke with Ana about the idea of taking the C-Market out of the equation and creating a company that would sell directly to roasters. As a response, she sent me 25 export bags as a “trial run.” Through a lot of ups and downs, trial and errors, we have managed cultivate great relationships with amazing roasters and sell to our coffee in the US and Canada . I run our operations in the United States including import, customer management, and sales of green coffee. In my free time, I spend cooking, hanging out with my cute pup, and making great cocktails (better than Pancho).
Ana Vizcaino
Consultant & Liaison
After raising my four awesome human beings in the United States, I asked myself: What do I do now?!? Originally from Guatemala, I grabbed this newfound freedom as a second chance to do what I had wanted to do since I was a young woman: Run a coffee farm the way that I envisioned it. Along with running Finca Esperanza, I advise Two Birds on best practices of coffee production and green coffee sales. I also meet with Two Birds clients who are interested in Finca Esperanza and am always happy when they visit!
Francisco Vizcaino
Customer Management and Sales Associate
Hi! My name is Francisco, but everyone calls me Pancho. It is a nickname I have had since I was a kid. I joined Two Birds in 2018 as a Sales Associate. As I continued in this role, I also moved into customer management and advising on business development issues that come up throughout the year. I also work as a developer while managing coffee sales in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. On my free time, my passion is soccer and making awesome cocktails.
Anamaria Vizcaino
Guatemala Operations & Business Development Associate
I joined my family in this endeavor in 2018. I focus on the operations in Guatemala including the export of the coffee. I also work on further business development of Two Birds Coffee. I graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations. I received my J.D. from Tulane Law School and my M.B.A. from Florida State University. Other than coffee, I am still working as an immigration lawyer, writing, and working on a new nonprofit!
